Sushi restaurant interior
In the heart of St Petersburg, Russia, is the most exquisite and distinctive feature sushi restaurant, built up of 400 wooden triangle envelopes on one side of the wall and the ceiling. The designers; DA Architects, built “the shell” with the objective to keep the rest of the 80sqm restaurant interior simplistic and neutral.
Beautiful references to Asian culture appear in bursts throughout, including the clay pot decorating the wall and the bamboo placemats. Muted palettes of grey and blue fill the simple space to draw attention to the delicate geometric, three-dimensional structure.
