Antique Design For The New Ivy Restaurant

The Ivy Cobham Brasserie opened it’s doors with a beautiful and chic new interior design on June 1st to the public. The opening included a VIP lunch with local celebrities, giving them a glimpse of the beautiful new-design.

The new restuarant is situated in the busy High Street in an old grade II building. Open seven days a week from morning until late hours, there is seating for over 180 people in the main restaurant of the Cobham restaurant, but the fun doesn't stoip there, the restuarant includes a classy bar, orangerie, garden and semi-private mezzanine area.

The design was put together by the Ccritically-acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio who compiled the chic interiors, including antique mirrors, Arancia onyx bar, antique brass chandeliers, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, deep blue armchairs and a mixture of caramel leather banquettes and bar stools. Outside is just as delightful with a stylish and comfortable seating area, a gorgeous canopy and beautiful flowers.

VIP attendees at Wednesday's launch party included TV presenters Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford, Angelica Bell, Lizzie Cundy and Andrea McLean, TV star Fia Tarrant, interior designer Vanessa Balinska and football personality Ray Wilkins.

At the dazzling affair, complete with bespoke canapés and free flowing Champagne, guests tucked into delicious steak skewers, seafood and caviar cornets and savoury bon bons.
