About Jenny McPhee
I joined The Alchemist in 2013 as a Business Development Manager opening the first site out of Manchester, over in Leeds. This was my first real experience in hospitality other than the odd server job. Previously working in an accountancy firm moving in to hospitality was quite a career change, but I can honestly say the best decision I have ever made. I moved into a brand role three years ago and helped to open an additional 8 sites with The Alchemist, finally moving into the Head of Brand position in April 17.
I love working in such a fast paced and innovative environment with passionate and creative people. That for me is what makes The Alchemist and it’s great to be involved in this exciting journey.
When I’m not working I’m almost always checking out the latest restaurants or bars in London, Manchester or Leeds.
As the Alchemist prepares to open their 15th site in November. Jenny McPhee discusses the evolution from cocktail bar to a premium all day dining and drinking destination.
